History

historyIn 1970’s , John C. Woods and his young wife moved to Maskall Village to start a small All-spice farm and a family. The family farmed for a couple of years, but with the desperate need of infrastructure in the country of Belize, especially in that area, John Woods entered the road construction industry with one bulldozer and a small group of employees.

The first project awarded was the clearing of a feeder road between Maskall and Mile 19 on the Northern Highway. The project was a success and with the enthusiasm and savvy of John Woods and his employees, he bought more equipment and started to expand. In 1978 he formed Cisco Construction Ltd. (named after his oldest son) and the rest is history.
